    A new squeezy bottle

What’s better than 284ml of Henderson’s Relish? 500ml of Henderson’s Relish, of course.
This fully recyclable bottle is mostly for our growing number of catering customers who prefer unbreakable squeezy bottles in their commercial kitchens – and its hopefully coming to a fish and chip shop near you soon.

    A strong & northern cake

    It’s the ultimate celebration cake.
This incredible creation is the work of Sheffield cake maker Cakes by Cherrypie – and it caused a big stir on our Facebook page in September.

    Meet our new bottle!

In 1885, Henry Henderson started selling relish from his general merchant store in Broad Lane – and customers would bring their used bottles for him to refill from large barrels.
132 years later, we’re going back to Henry’s ways by making use of locally recycled glass. Our new bottle is made by Beatson Clark in Rotherham: 30% of it […]

    Traditional Recipe

Everyone here at Henderson’s would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
As normal I was thinking of pies and I am looking forward to a Turkey with mushroom sauce pie over Christmas.
One of the funniest things of the year was a turn by a comedian at the monthly comedy night at The New Barrack Tavern at Hillsborou […]

    Looking Into the Past

We have been fortunate to learn a bit more about Henderson’s Relish recently.
An e-mail and photo of an old bottle intrigued us as it was one we didn’t recognise. Barbara, Dave and Wayne came to the factory to show us the bottle and have a look round. They were amazed at the factory and we were blown away by the bottle.
    It&#82 […]

A Weekend in London – The Just V Show

Hendersons Relish attended the Just V Show at Olympia this weekend 8th to 10th of July.
The visitor figures for the three days have not yet been released but it is believed to have been around 40000.
The reaction was fantastic to Sheffield and Yorkshire’s best kept secret and little did Henry Henderson realise that when he was crea […]
